Dr. Deah Schwartz has her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, an MA in Creative Arts Education, an MS in Therapeutic Recreation, and is a Nationally Certified Recreational Therapist.  She is a contributor to the Art Therapy Blog and the author of the syndicated blog, Tasty Morsels, which can be found on a variety of websites including:  Peresephone Magazine, We are the Real Deal, More of Me to Love, Fierce Freethinking Fatties, and Eating Disorders On Line. Dr. Deah Schwartz is available for leading customized workshops and seminars for:

Some workshops may include the screening of “LEFTOVERS: The Ups and Downs of a Compulsive Eater.” This award-winning original theatre piece about women and weight in America was written by Marcia Kimmell, Deah Schwartz and Anne Wilford, and is a heartfelt, honest and humorous exploration of women’s body issues. INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS Dr. Deah is also available for individual sessions.  Dr. Deah’s Walkie Talkies are for people in the Bay Area who find it difficult to schedule exercise and therapy in their busy week.  In Dr. Deah’s sessions, you will walk and talk for an amount of time consistent with physical ability and focus on body image, health, wellness, eating patterns, and other therapeutic issues that may emerge.  For more information about Dr. Deah’s Walkie Talkies contact Dr. Deah at drdeah@drdeah.com.
